How to Edit Sports Photos in Lightroom Mobile (Free App)
You don't need a computer or a paid subscription to edit sports photos professionally. The free Adobe Lightroom mobile app plus a good preset gets you most of the way. Here's the workflow.
1. Install the free Lightroom app
Download Adobe Lightroom from the App Store or Google Play. The free version has everything you need for presets.
2. Import your preset
Open the app, tap the three-dot menu in the Presets panel and choose Import Presets. Select your preset file. It appears under Presets.
3. Import your photos
Add photos from your camera roll, or import directly from your camera with an adapter.
4. Apply the preset
Open your best shot, open the Presets menu and tap your preset. The full look applies instantly.
5. Fine-tune
- Exposure — nudge up or down so the photo isn't too dark or blown out
- White balance — adjust temperature if skin tones look too warm or cool
- Highlights — pull down if jerseys or the court are clipping
6. Copy settings to the whole gallery
Tap the three dots, Copy Settings, then select your other photos and Paste Settings. Every shot now matches.
7. Export
Export at full resolution for prints, or sized down for social.
